Ella is blessed with some of the most beautiful views, you could find in Sri Lanka. the glenrock lies just 58 km away from this small town which is used as a base for many trekking expeditions to the surrounding countryside. You may have your own plans due to the areas reputation as being a highlight of the central highlands – perhaps the Ravana Ella or Ravana Falls. Therefore a personalized package to view all Ella has to offer while being back at the luxury of the glenrock come evening can be created.

We however suggest you take the Haputale route to Ella to get a great view extending to the Indian Ocean from the famous Lipton’s Seat. The ‘Nine Arches Bridge’ at Demodara is an engineering feat and good example of  Sri Lanka’s colonial influence. You may be lucky enough to see a train cross over as well!  A visit to Dambetenna Tea Factory will brief you on how tea is produced – from the raw tea leaf to a hot cup of Sri Lankan tea!
